March For Life

Our Christian faith tells us that God’s love for the world is so tremendous that the very Son of God came into our midst so that we might have life and have it in abundance (cf. John 10:10).  The Lord loves each of us and calls us to share in God’s own divine life.  The dignity of the human person is truly profound, and yet often that dignity is obscured in today’s world.  Thus, as followers of Christ Jesus, we are all called to witness to the dignity of human life according to the circumstances of our own lives.

In January of 2018, the faculty and seminarians of Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary will be rendering such witness by participating in the annual March for Life.  We will be traveling to our state capital of Saint Paul, thereby fashioning a powerful local statement on the profound value of life from its very first instant to its earthly end.

I invite you to be part of this witness by sponsoring a seminarian spiritually and financially as we approach October, designated as Respect Life Month.  Your prayers and financial support will allow the seminarians to attend the March for Life and participate in the pro-life movement in a very concrete way.
